The City Chambers was erected off the Royal Mile, quite deep that it is hard to notice. A quadrangle with a stone War Memorial and a bronze statue of Alexander The Great taming his horse Bucephalus precedes the edifice.
Nice place for talks and events. On the Royal mile which is very nice.

10 mins waiting and here are my first impressions: everyone is really friendly, the practice is very clean! Keep up the good work! not seen a dentist the though....
Been using them since I was youngster. Always short problem out
30 Glen St, Edinburgh EH3 9JE, UK – 0131 228 3060
Yesterday I had a sinus lift and today I was at work having had no pain, no swelling or bruising. I really don't feel like I have had anything done at all!. I cannot thank Eimear enough for her professionalism, cheerfulness and for making me feel so relaxed . Thank you to the girls who assist her and at the reception too. The care before, during and after my treatment was excellent as always.
I have been with Bite Dentistry ever since they were still called 'Frederick Street' (2013) and before that "The Dental Clinic" (2007). They are private practice but do some NHS clients as well. Cathy, my original dentist is very professional and since retired. Helen Young is now my orthodontist. Twice a year I go for a checkup and twice for a hygenist. This permanent location is very nicely decorated and the waiting room is spacious and comfortable. Magazine and complimentary water. The machinery they use in the consult room / surgeries are top of the line. They take card when you need to pay, but you can also sign up for a 'program' of sessions (like a Dental Club Plan) - which gives you a discount when visiting and on treatments. I recommend them!

I have been to 4 Dentist in Edinburgh and 2 dentist in Glasgow. This dentist is by far the best. I got all my treatment done in a single day and the dentist took time to show me all the problems with my teeth by having me hold a mirror while pointing and explaining each problem. I even missed my first appointment and their was no £10 charge :) Location is excellent, reception is super friendly and im pleased with the work done on my teeth. I highly recommend this dental practise.
Great dental practice, highly recommend it. They care about the condition of your teeth and provide tailored advice. Good price and great customer service.
125 Mayfield Rd, Edinburgh EH9 3AJ, UK – 0131 667 5656
Always get seen late and today’s receptionist extremely rude making me sign forms without explaining to me what they were for or letting me have a chance to read them. Told her I’ll do it next time I’m in so I can read it over her response was ‘no it has to be done now’ - someone needs to give her some training In how to behave with clients
Friendly, professional service. Great practice all round. Recommended.
57 Duddingston Crescent, Edinburgh EH15 3AY, UK – 0131 669 2114
Having severe phobia of the dentist I was very scared to go. I had been to another practice before who said I needed a root canal and 2 more fillings. As I am cannot afford private care my options were limited. Miriam was absolutely amazing! Not only did I not need a root canal, I also ended up paying way less than I had been quoted by the other practice. Miriam and her lovely assistant walked me through my options and put me at ease throughout and didn't mind taking it very slow and at a pace I felt comfortable. She always assured me we would stop if I wanted to. I have been to a lot of dentists in my life but this is the first where the numbing injection was entirely pain free and I didn't feel a thing of the procedure even with a big deep filling! I am so very very grateful to Miriam and her assistant for the wonderful care they have given me, It really does make a huge difference! Thank you so much
On retiring from my job within the dental community, I wanted to find a practice that gave me the high standards of care and kindness that was second nature to those I had worked along side. Craigentinny is exactly that, and my dental care from both Dentist and Hygienist is thorough and caring. All staff are helpful and kind. Thank you to all

A good healthy centre
24 Gracemount Dr, Edinburgh EH16 6RN, UK – 0131 664 2377
Don't listen to these bad reviews. Yesterday needed an urgent appointment, after 4 tries got through and had an appointment at nine. Needed a repeat last minute appointment today too and again got through after a few tries. Treatment from the GPs on both days was brilliant so we'll done and thank you. Only downside is finding a parking space as the car park is shared by a gym. You just need to be patient and you'll get one.
Pros: Staff are excellent and very friendly. I've never had an issue with them and always helpful. Cons: Appointment system isn't the finest. I'm informed that there are early appointments bookable in advance some days by some doctors from 7am. Aimed at people that work, but seem to get filled by older people that (I can't confirm) don't work. Must be the only doctors you can't book an appointment for more than 1 day in advance for everything else. So need to stand outside at 7.45am or get thumb and neck ache pressing redial by phone, to have to redial the next day.

I think this is the best practice I have ever been registered with...always helpful and know their stuff, I trust what the gps say ! If you're lucky enough to be in their catchment area don't hesitate!

Thank goodness for our NHS. A very well resourced hospital. No-one wants to be there but everyone is grateful that it is there.
As a having 8 operations and 5 of the in sick kids I the every one one of the staff are very nice easy to talk to so Pedro I don't know if you are reviewing the right place

Have to praise the staff at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. From the moment mum was taken in on Monday, the care and attention she received was outstanding. Particularly the nurses of base 4 in the Acute Medical unit. Those girls were awesome. They made a difficult week much easier to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The whole family was looked after and mum got the best care possible. Words cannot express how grateful we are xx ❤
Ward 204 staff were superb. Attentive, compassionate and friendly. Only wish the food was edible, but no worse than at other hospitals I've been treated at.
25 Nicolson Square, Edinburgh EH8 9BX, UK – 0131 662 8635
Venue was bright, well lit, books well displayed, volunteers welcoming. Cafe and toilet facilities very good. However the brightest star has to be reserved for the book pricing. It is so much easier for sorters, purchasers and counters to handle a limited range of prices. My only regret was I didn't come earlier in the week or get a chance to return (family commitments) a mistake I won't make next year, Elizabeth - wee wifey overdressed for the temperature!
This is a bright, white, friendly jewel of a place.

Only visited during Edinburgh fringe when used as a theatre space. Good central venue for musical theatre and concerts.
41A S Clerk St, Edinburgh EH8 9NZ, UK – 0131 466 8660
Love Sunday mornings here - fun and friendly people, very child friendly and most importantly a strong sense of God's presence. :)
Great Church ! A strong community, welcoming to new people, helping people connect and encounter Jesus, relaxed, informal, open, diverse, yet with a sense of purpose.
Old Dalkeith Road, Craigmillar, Edinburgh EH16 4TB, UK – 0131 529 3030
super convenient for.. absolutely no-one
Congratulations to the staff who have taken the time to make a little garden area around their cabin. I dropped some rubbish off yesterday and it brightened a dull edinburgh evening to see the colourful display. Well done. Staff were pleasant and helpful as usual.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Could not fault it one bit. My wife and I had the fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection. We also had starters and desserts as well as beer and wine. They do a two course meal deal which was very reasonably priced but it didn't apply to the steak. The atmosphere was relaxed and cosy which fitted with the location. Staff were great too, very attentive even though it was so busy. In all it came to just over £100 including service which was well worth it. Can't recommend it enough and will certainly return, possibly for lunch tomorrow.
A great place at a great location! Was recommended by our free walking tour tour guide Fiona. Went there for the £11.95 2-course lunch menu. Had soup of the day, Cullen Skink, salmon, and catch of the day. All very well seasoned and cooked to perfection!
71-75 St. Leonard's St, Edinburgh EH8 9QR, UK – 0131 668 2917
Went here for a Sunday evening meal as a family group of 4 on the strength of reviews, and we were not disappointed. The decor and lighting is pleasant and modern. We all chose from the bargain menu, the options were varied enough for all our tastes, the portions generous (or standard? Not small anyway) and the food delicious. The single hardworking waitress provided good service, and our food orders arrived swiftly. We'll be back, found a new favourite restaurant!
Had tried once and decided to take my parents who come and visit Edinburgh to try again. Very cozy and delicious food. Pretty Scottish. Good service as well. Offer free freshly baked bread.
National Museum of Scotland, Chambers St, Edinburgh EH1 1JF, UK – 0131 225 3003
My friends and I came upon The Tower during a walking tour in Edinburgh and decided to book a reservation. It seemed like a neat location for a fine dining establishment and it had a unique view. The food was delicious but we were surprised that the service was really lacking. No one ever returned to pour wine (and we’d bought a very very expensive bottle) not did the waiter ever ask if everything was okay with our food. It was very odd. Pricey. Tasty. But they pretty much put stuff on your table and then never talk to you again. 5 Star food. 3 star service (if that) averaging to a 4.
Pretty darn good fare - - delicious etc - - but a wee bit too big for its buttons in terms of pricing. However, at any rate, you will definitely have an absolutely wonderful, first class meal here with exceptional ingredients. With a lovely waitstaff! And an amazing view of Edinburgh btw... Good stuff! 😊

I have worked at St Margarets for several years and love working there. The staff are great and we all work well as a team. The large garden is amazing and the children thrive outside as well as inside. The job is demanding but very rewarding and I have formed very good bonds with the children and the parents 💕
St Margaret’s Nursery is a brilliant place to work I have been there nearly 2 years. I am part of an amazing team and they have helped me grow in confidence. I’m about to start my SVQ Level 4 management have been really supportive and encouraging me to take the next step to work towards level 4. I love working in the baby room and seeing them grow and progress I definitely recommend this nursery.

From the minute you enter the bright, modern and spacious reception area, you feel like this is somewhere that encourages learning, and has been designed and purpose-built to support that. No pokey dark corridors or dodgy conversions, all the rooms are well equipped (with all the essentials neatly packed away out of little ones' reach!) leaving the floorspace free for play. A range of stimulating activities, their own soft play room, plus huge garden area (a real premium in the city centre). The online learning journal means grandparents can login and see our child develop, even from 300+ miles away. They have amazingly varied hot meals so she only ever needs a light tea before bed - perfect for working parents. They are attentive to her every need, notice when she is under the weather, have supported her through many key learning and development stages and keep setting new goals for the staff to work towards with her. I would thoroughly recommend both the building and the staff.

As a student at LHS I don't understand the bad reviews it's not a bad high school yeah it has a bad reputation but it's still a not a bad school. Edit: it’s a good school, polite students mostly. I’m moving into my final year of the school have been at the school since S1, can say some bad things about it but not a lot. Yes some students are rude but not all. All we want is are school to have people give it a try, that’s all. Over all I’m just saying take the review from a student not a parent who has a child in this school. Thank you 🙂
Liberton is a good school. It may have it's faults like other schools., but it has some of the finest pupils and teachers, that I have had the honor to know.
