Loved this place! Easy to find, not crowded when we went and the atmosphere is great. You have to use the bathroom that has become kind of a mural for all things Harry Potter (some are not so nice). The view you get is amazing looking out the window. They say it's the birthplace of Harry Potter, which isn't quite accurate. The idea actually came during a train ride, but she did spend many hours writing there and there are pictures to prove it! I couldn't imagine a more inspirational place to write. Love it!!
Such a phenomenal experience! It was an honour to sit where Rowling started an idea that has revolutionized a generation. The vibe in here is sensational. Cheers to David! Who was the best service I’ve experienced in ALL OF SCOTLAND. The entire month I’ve been here. I am sad to leave. Can’t express how much I recommend at least stopping in for a coffee (and if you have time Purple Yam cake!) Thank you guys! 🙏🏻🖤

This place was absolutely amazing. Costumer service was outstanding and the food was SO delicious and fresh. The place is very cozy and it made me feel like home. Everyone was extremely nice and everything tasted so good. I definitely recommend this place to my friends visiting and anyone who needs a relaxing stop after a long day walking. This was one of my favorite places when I visited Edinburgh in October 2017.
We had a lovely breakfast here. It’s a cute little restaurant that was packed while we were there. The food was a good size, the staff were attentive and the flavours were great. The scones were large and I see many of the ingredients are locally sourced. Worth a visit, especially when it’s cold outside :)

There are always too many delicious cakes to choose from and you really can’t go wrong. They’re particularly good with floral flavours, which can often be overpowering/soapy, but are delicate and subtle in Lovecrumbs’ cakes (rose and pistachio is the best of these, I think). Also nice coffees and teas. I do wish there were more tables, as I’ve often had to leave without buying anything, but it’s a great place to meet up with friends if you go at the right time.
Great birthday cake. Took a bit of a punt and ordered by email a Birthday cake for a birthday trip to Edinburgh. Ordered a 10inch vanilla and raspberry cake, with a 'Happy 60th Birthday Mum' message on it. Cake was very tasty, was ready on time and was certainly up to the standard I had expected. Only popped in to pick it up and did not actually sit in or use the cafe as such. Although overall I was impressed, it was not cheap at 67 pounds (I did not shop around) and when I came to collect, the girl serving was unaware of what price I was to actually pay, needed me to tell her, sadly I was too honest! Also point to note is that on your card statement, its not obvious what the payment is. Does not say Lovecrumbs. The description was a bit spurious, perhaps though lack of attention/explanation when entering the details through their iZettle payment terminal.

Great food and fair prices. Very quick service and friendly staff! Great place for food near Edinburgh castle.
We headed there for a bit of late evening sustenance and were welcomed by the lovely guys. A warm friendly place to grab some great fish and chips/haggis and chips!

Run of the mill fish n chips. Mine were totally fresh cooked so that was a plus. They do offer several other options. Very small space. About 6 seats. Price was good, taste good.
Great place, visited a few times in just a couple of days. Recommend the pepperoni pizza, the toppings aren't loaded on, but used in a way to compliment the dish. Friendly staff with good soh, especially the older guy. Chips are good, and look forward to trying out what else is on the menu 👍

Great little shop. Breakfast burritos are a good size and the cappuccino was excellent. Nice place to grab a quick breakfast.
Very delicous burritos and NYC panini, fresh baked croissants. Coolest staff :-)...Funkytown

They do the most delicious soup and a huge variety of sandwiches. All at a very reasonable price. Delicious and freshly brewed coffee. The staff were really friendly and chatty which made the homely ambience even more welcoming.
Very impressed with this salad bar, pretty unassuming from the outside, but a great atmosphere inside, with fresh flowers on the tables! I had the meal deal option, homemade soup, choice of crisps, and a handmade baguette - you choose your own fillings, salads and dressings! All for £5 which is incredible for the quality. I will definitely be back for another visit very soon!

My favourite Edinburgh Indian take away. I usually collect so can’t say much about the delivery service, but food is tasty, good value for money and usually ready within 20 minutes of ordering. If you don’t have cash on you there is a free cash point just across the road
Good place for a take away. Order ahead online and have your food waiting, or for a small fee delivered. Enormous portions and good quality Scottish Indian. The place is pretty much a hole in the wall so don't expect a world changing culinary experience.

Ordered for the first time from here today, great value, speedy delivery, curry arrived hot, will definitely be ordering from again. Great place!
Very nice lamb madras and people. I was just passing and hope to so again.

Plenty of space, clean location, has a kids play area. Has several of their new self service touch screens so staff have never seemed overwhelmed which is a plus. Receipt printers on the screens haven't worked any time I've been here though. Didn't end up effecting ability to collect my order.
I'm not a great fan of McDonald's but there improving all the time so I say in general it's not bad for food takeaway I personally wouldn't eat there all the time but I wouldn't say it's a bad place to eat maybe the customer service needs a bit more training but in general terms it's good

Before ordering food from here I had never had Malaysian food before and I can honestly say that from this experience I honestly love Malaysian food! The food wasn’t heavy at all, very tasty and very flavourful. I especially recommend the curry puffs from the starter menu! They are AMAZING! The food isn’t too spicy so if you’re not very good with spice, this should be okay for you! The delivery time was fairly quick! I really hope to visit the restaurant as it looks very nice inside! If you fancy something different, definitely try here! The prices are fairly average as well so a meal won’t cost too much!
I had a very tasty meal on Saturday night. In the festival in Edinburgh it is sometimes hard to know where to eat as everywhere is super busy and slow. Nanyang were friendly, delivered our food in 30 minutes and the food was totally delicious and very fresh! Highly recommend.

Not long moved down here and by far the best takeaway we have had so far! Five star and will definitely order from here going forward. Pizza was amazing!
Brilliant relaxed atmosphere and great food at good price. Very quick service too.
