I've been training with Andrew for half a year now and I could not be happier with my choice of a PT. He has an amazing talent to push you just hard enough that after a training session you feel great about yourself and motivated for the next one. I can definitely see the progress both in terms of weight control (lost around 10 Kg of body fat during that period) and muscular gain. I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone who is serious about getting in shape!

I have been working with Malcolm at Finely Tuned Fitness for about a month now and his sessions are great! They are always fun, Malcolm is great to get things done whilst also chatting and having a laugh, which is great for me as it makes working out seem less of a chore and something I actually want to do, and look forward to! I have issues with my knees, and on our first session we spent the hour doing rehab for this, this let Malcolm evaluate my knees and see areas we could improve and what he could do in terms of effective muscle training around my knees to give them extra support. We have continued a mixture of rehab and general fitness exercises, and whenever Malcolm notices issues with my body, like my stance or posture he will focus on that area, in order to benefit me in the long run. Their prices are competitive and fair for PT sessions, and for the money you are paying it isn’t just someone bossing you around at the gym, the PT will get to know the good and bad about your body, they get into your diet and they invest their time and energy into improving you to reach whatever goals you have set, whether thats general fitness, rehab, weight loss or muscle building - I’m doing a bit of everything and its great! Iv noticed I have a lot more energy in general, and I have a lot more drive to do things that normally I would just avoid I have also noticed i am more confident with my body, I would tend to stick to leggings and baggy tops/jumpers and although I have just started getting my health and fitness on track and my body hasn’t changed dramatically from when I started, I’m wearing clothes I actually want to wear and tucking my top into my jeans, which I would never do for fear of my belly and now I am! I’m just generally more happy with myself :) I’d now recommend hiring a PT if you want to change your health and fitness, but I would highly recommend Finely Tuned Fitness, Malcolm has been great to work with and I can’t thank him enough for helping me better myself
It is difficult to choose personal training - it can seem an expensive way to try to get fit. However, if you are like me, and you need the motivation, not only to go training, but to find or create the time to go training, then personal training is certainly a great way to achieve this. It is also difficult to choose a personal trainer - there are so many to choose from, and you know that is not difficult to become an "official" or "certified" PT. Therefore it is either pot luck, or looking at personal reviews. I went down the first route, and somehow got lucky when I contacted FTF. Michael was quick to respond, and took time to understand my goals, even though they were quite simple - lose fat and get fit. Michael is genuinely friendly and personable, making each workout (kind of) enjoyable. He has an excellent understanding (and qualifications to match) of nutrition. All I can say is to give FTF a go - I am sure you will enjoy joining the FTF Community.
