The Bike Station

250 Causewayside, Edinburgh EH9 1UU, UK – 0131 668 1996

Fantastic, speedy and value for money! I popped in for what I thought would be a drop off of my bike to pick up in a few days. I knew I needed a new chain and cassette, but the staff told me it would take 5-10 minutes and did it. They also checked and adjusted my disc brakes. Not only this, they showed me how to do a better job myself in maintaining all three aspects so as to save me time and money in the long run. Very pleased, thank you!

Awesome service! Mangled my 29r wheel at Glentress. The guys at the bike station got me up and rolling again with fresh sealant too. Great job 🤙👌

The Bicycle Works

29-30 Argyle Pl, Edinburgh EH9 1JJ, UK – 0131 228 8820

Chain broke in town and needed a new one to cycle home. Called up and had a new chain within 20 minutes. Fab service, good price

Brilliant shop! Fantastic, quality repairs at great prices for parts and labour. Immensely friendly and knowledgable staff. My partner and I have been coming here for five years even though we live miles away and I’m sure we will keep coming back =]

The Bike Smith CWS

Peter is great 'bike doctor' of the Edinburgh Bike Smith! He has saved my bikes many times. He hand-built my #letourdemoon titanium 🚲 and he is always extending life to my steel commuter 🚲 which I'm using every day to work. He got ready my touring bike for 1000 miles extreme winter adventure around Scotland. I didn't had a single problem. Peter is the right choice for your bike. His bike shop is quite central, prices are affordable. His knowledge, handy tips, skills is priceless. DON'T WAIT and POP IN!👍

My front wheel was stolen. Peter quickly saved me with a second hand in great condition. Great guy, providing great affordable service.

Cycle Hire

Biketrax

11 Lochrin Pl, Edinburgh EH3 9QX, UK – 0131 228 6633

Had to leave another review from my other gmail account and at this rate I'll have to start creating new accounts, because the service is just so great, had a flat on my front tire a few hours ago, came in, they couldn't be more helpful to get me on with my day and help me out with my breaks and make suggestions Shaz and Luke were amazing! Even thought me a couple of things about taking care/fixing bikes. Great talk and great service!

I rented 5 bicycles with them and they were perfect for our 4 days trip. Everything in the bicycle worked perfectly, including the changing gear, and the staff is extremely helpful and nice. Well done guys

Cycle Scotland

29 Blackfriars St, Edinburgh EH1 1NB, UK – 0131 556 5560

We hired two electric bikes at a brilliant price for 4 hours. Not only were the bikes and their price great but we were advised of a brilliant route which meant we got the most of our time with them seeing as much as possible of Edinburgh off the beaten track! When we come back we’ll definietky be booking onto one of the guided tours.

Had a great tour of Auld Reekie today. It was cold and blustery but that is Scotland. Peter was great took us to places other tours would not. I recommend this tour for anyone seeking for an active experience in Edinburgh

Social Bike

25 Nicolson Square, Edinburgh EH8 9BX, UK – 0131 667 8705

A brilliant new bike shop and project in Edinburgh! Really friendly and helpful staff, and very affordable for bike hire and parts too. They're also supportive of people using the space for free to fix their own, and helping people who are homeless to use the centre to build their own bike. Helped fix someones bike before we went on a ride, and had some really high quality bikes to rent for the day. Highly recommend.

Great place to come and use the space to fix your bike on a donation basis! Everyone is really friendly, accommodating and it's a relaxed atmosphere. The level of effort and attention to detail that Oz puts into fixing bikes is above and beyond the affordable prices he charges, would recommend for rentals and repairs!
